The Alpena County Parks Commission welcomes you to all of our parks. We are proud to provide these parks to the community and hope you are able to find time to camp at each park. We also hope you enjoy your stay and come to visit the parks again!

The camping season is from May 15 until October 15 annually with the 2023 camping season approved to open on Friday, May 12, 2023 this year until October 15, 2023. Reservations are accepted after January 2 each year and require a deposit of one (1) night's stay, to be paid in advance. Holiday weekends require a deposit of two (2) night's stay, to be paid in advance.  Seasonal reservations can be accepted anytime for the current or future camping season.

The $100.00 discount given to Alpena County residents is for the seasonal rate only.  Must show proof of being an Alpena County resident.  Payment of $150.00 is due at the time of the reservation, with the balance due within 2 weeks before arrival for seasonal and monthly rentals. **Seasonal Campers (Alpena County Residents Only) – Veterans or a Seniors Discount (age 65+) of $50, but cannot take both discounts and need to show proof when signing in at the Parks Office. 

If cancellation of a reservation is necessary, a one (1) night deposit will not be refunded.  No refunds will be issued except substitutionary time within the same season except for another holiday weekend.  Holiday reservations will be charged a two (2) night deposit with no refund.  NO EXCEPTIONS!  Approved by the Alpena County Parks and Recreation Commission October 19, 2022.
